About Us

My love of fishing started when my Grandfather and Uncle Buzz took me salt water fishing in Port Arthur when I was little. I always looked forward to those trips. I got my first bass boat when I was 28 and this is where bass fishing became my obsession. In 1996, my wife Vallie and I moved to East Texas to raise our kids and to fish tournaments on Lake Sam Rayburn. We are proud to be a part of this

great community.

Making baits started out as a hobby. I enjoyed making them and then catching fish on them! After winning tournaments, Championships and Angler of the Year on these soft plastics, my hobby grew into a business. I love it when other anglers report success on Cross Bait Co. baits, and if I get beat on my own baits, it doesn't hurt so bad!
